Official Big Takeover Survey Drawing Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Drawing is sponsored by Big Takeover Survey, P.O. Box 1778, Cathedral Station, New York, NY 10025 (“Sponsor”).

Eligibility: Drawing is offered only electronically via the Internet and is open to all persons age 18 and older. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Drawing. Void where prohibited. All federal, national, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply. This drawing begins at midnight EST on November 22, 2005 and ends at midnight EST March 31, 2006.

How to Enter: You may enter the Drawing by completing the survey found at www.bigtakeover.com/survey in its entirety. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Only one entry per person is permitted, and any duplication/repeated entries will be invalid. Different e-mail addresses used by the same person, or any form of multiple entries is not allowed. Note: Survey completion is not necessary to enter the drawing. By completing the survey in its entirety, you will be automatically entered. To enter without completing the survey, print your name, email address, street address, city, state, zip code, and telephone number on a 3” x 5” card and mail it to: Big Takeover Survey, P.O. Box 1778, Cathedral Station, New York, NY 10025.

Prizes: One Grand Prize winner will receive a 2-year Big Takeover subscription (or subscription extension) and a Big Takeover t-shirt. Two First Prize winners will each receive a 2-year Big Takeover subscription (or subscription extension). Two Runners-Up will each receive a Big Takeover t-shirt. Prize is non-transferable/non-saleable. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Selection of Winners: Winners will be selected at random. The drawing will take place within 15 days of the end of the Drawing period. All decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by e-mail within seven days of the drawing and must claim their prize by e-mail within 14 days of that notification by replying to the e-mail notification. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. Winners may be required to sign and return a release of liability and declaration of eligibility. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize within 30 days of notification, prize may be forfeited. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account. All winners are disqualified from entry in subsequent Big Takeover Survey Drawings.

Conditions: By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor, agents and representatives of Sponsor, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Drawing to be disrupted or corrupted; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Drawing; or (v) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Drawing. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Drawing at any time if a computer virus, bug or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Drawing.

By participating in the Drawing, each participant agrees to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Sponsor, its advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Drawing or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
