Queens, NY’s Endangered Feces return with another furious blast of melodic hardcore that celebrates the virtues of excessive booze and poop.
It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it affair: 13 of the 14 songs clock in between 16 and 59 seconds. Only one track, “Go Go Garino” makes one-minute-forty, but that’s hardcore, right? Short, sweet, to the point. And these fellas certainly do it right, blending a Bad Religion-ish melodicism with top-notch musicianship and a love of toilet humor. It’s a bit like Kraut wanting to be Iron Maiden, but not having the attention span to write anything over a minute.
So grab your friends, ingest copious amounts of alcohol and throw this ditty on when everything’s nice and lively. Then you can wonder, in your hungover stupor, why your apartment is covered in toilet paper.
