Charlie Clark‘s debut solo EP, Feel Something, arrives in stores tomorrow on AED, Edwyn Collins‘ label.
Feel Something features ex-New Amsterdams bassist Eric McCann, who co-produced; Isobel Campbell of solo and Belle & Sebastian fame; Brandi Emma, Yohei Shikano (My Hawaii), Kaitlin Wolfberg (Fort King) and Joe Luisi (A House For Lions).
Clark was a founding member of the criminally overlooked late ’90s pop-rock group Astrid, whose 1999 sophomore LP, Strange Weather Lately, was produced by Collins. In 2001-2002 Clark joined The Reindeer Section, led by Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, along with members of Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub and The Vaselines. He briefly joined The Zephyrs, and has appeared on records by Arab Strap, Mogwai and Snow Patrol.
