Kinjac is the eclectic electro-rock solo project of musician/producer Michael O’Shea (pictured). Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, and now based in Los Angeles, O’Shea produced Smoking Gun, the debut EP by Carolinabound, the stage moniker of Chris Smith, a singer-songwriter based in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
The original version of “Chaos,” which premiered today on Verbicide, is gentle, aching alt-country; this remix is a very different beast, as haunted as the house it was recorded in. Dig it:
