Jack is a New Yorker by chance and a music listener of the most obsessive order by both choice and geography, a listener of hundreds of albums each year and someone many assume knows a lot about music for that reason. He just likes nice sounds, he says. Jack was the General Manager at WNYU Radio from 2022-23, also serving as News Director and host/producer/contributor of a variety of shows, including the long-running New Afternoon Show, which he hosted on Mondays for over 100 episodes. While at WNYU, Jack interviewed artists like The Microphones, The Hold Steady, and Silversun Pickups, winning a college media award for his interview of Surf Curse live from the Governors Ball Festival. He also was the first to interview Voxtrot on their reunion tour, and the last to interview Low as a unit. Jack currently hosts Strange Currencies on Brainrot Radio and occasionally broadcasts on WFMU.
