Exclusive EP Stream: Better Days Vol 2 by Caroline Glaser

“I’ve been working on this EP volume series for the past year and I am absolutely thrilled to release Better Days Vol. 2 this September,” said the Missouri native (and contestant from season four of “The Voice”) of her charming new EP due out September 16.

“I released my first volume back in December (listen to it on Billboard.com – ed.), and we just wrapped up Vol 2 this past spring,” said Glaser, who’s been on the road almost constantly since leaving the TV singing contest. “I recorded the six original songs in my friend, Donnie Reis’ studio, Twelve3South. We got pretty experimental in the studio, so each track has a pretty different vibe and feel, but I’m extremely proud of what we came up with. I was a lot more involved in this recording process compared to my debut, so I’m even more excited about this release.

“I’ve been through so many ups and downs this past year, and a lot of these songs are extremely personal. Most of the tracks, although may come across as sad, all have a hopeful message. I am at a point in my life where I’m having to overcome a lot of obstacles, whether it be with managers/producers/family or just being away from my home. It’s given me a lot to be hopeful about. This record is just a musical representation of the stage of life I’m at right now. Not perfect, but extremely hopeful.”
