“‘Radar’ is about unexpected surprises,” said Leslie Sisson, singer and guitarist for Austin-Texas-based “dream gaze” trio Moving Panoramas. “Missed opportunities, and personal exploration, with constant reminders all around, especially via technology, while life’s inner radar always pings, even when we’re unsure what we’re pinging for, even when nothing pings back, keep pinging… which cryptically means… life is short, when something good comes across your radar, don’t wuss out, go for it.”
Leslie is known for her work on vocals/guitar in The Wooden Birds with Andrew Kenny of American Analog Set and as a solo artist. Her history includes time in Matt Pond PA, with guest performances for American Analog Set, Mark Gardener of Ride, and Broken Social Scene. With bassist Rozie Castoe, drummer Karen Skloss, Sisson will release the band’s debut LP, One, in October.
