Although a brand new project, The Luxembourg Signal features members who have been playing together for years as part of Aberdeen (one of the few American acts on the U.K.‘s Sarah Records). Several years, several bands — including long-running LA indie-pop band Fonda and London’s Trembling Blue Stars — and a few reunions later, Johnny Joyner, Beth Arzy and Brian Espinosa started The Luxembourg Signal with Betsy Moyer and Ginny Pitchford.
The band’s eponymous debut, due out September 30 on Shelflife Records, was recorded by David Newton (ex-Fonda and The Mighty Lemon Drops) at Rollercoaster Recording and mixed by Mark Rains at Station House Studio. Dream-pop fans take note — you’re gonna love this.
