Despite putting out numerous rippin’ records and never having broken up or lost more than a bassist in 35 years, London punk band 999 never got the respect they deserve. Perhaps amongst their more outlandish and extroverted peers, 999’s lack of a gimmick held them back. So, if you haven’t figured out that 999 deserve your time then I’ll ask lead singer Nick Cash’s infamous musical question, “What the hell is wrong with you?”
