Dr. RB Korbet is a bassist, guitarist and singer who has played in numerous NYC bands including Even Worse, King Missile, Pussy Galore, Missing Foundation, Big Stick, Bubba Zanetti, Hit By a Truck, Sloth, Hellvis, The Wharton Tiers Ensemble, and most recently Um, Silk Cut (with John S. Hall) and The Carvels NYC. She’s a native Manhattanite that presently lives in Park Slope, is working on a solo collection of cover songs, and yes, RB is a real doctor (in Contemporary British History / Politics).
AGNQ has a unique musicality that really sets them apart from the dark pack. The material itself is simple, melodic, direct and loud; dense, yet spatial. What each player brings to the wobbly, whiskey-soaked table via their individual approach is what also makes them special indeed. They are quite an ensemble.
