This week's "Big Takeover on Breakthru Radio" show: new Soft Science, Savage Republic, Stiff Little Fingers, Steinbecks and more!

21 April 2014

Once again, for those who greatly enjoy our Big Takeover Magazine print issues and this site (I hope that means you!), you might enjoy my weekly radio show too (new show every Monday), as I play a ton of stuff that is covered in our pages and here as well, both old and new:

This week’s show TTafter a teensy bit of 1952 Hank Williams: Soft Science, Kitchens of Distinction, BLNX, Withered Hand, Sultans of Ping FC, D.O.A., X, Marc Ganancias, Stiff Little Fingers (new), The Spits, Savage Republic (new), Toy, The New Mendicants, The Steinbecks (new), Small Faces, The Kinks, The Equals, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich, and Inventions. Why not listen in?

This week the hilarious 1992 song “Where’s Me Jumper” by Sultans of Ping FC is my favorite track this show. Ever since our friends Brant Vogel and Jenn Steenshorne posted this on St. Patrick’s Day on their Facebook, we’ve been coming up with new things we have lost so we can do a variation of this! Betcha it happens to you too. It’s catching…

And again, R.I.P. Dave Gregg, late Private School and D.O.A. guitarist, etc, as he is still on my mind.

Also, as I remind in this space every week (‘cause I think it’s important to reiterate), iif you want to hear any of my previous shows, you can go to my page on the site, and all 303 previous shows (and our several “Rabid Sessions show” can be heard at your leisure there as well!) Many hours of fine music, since we never repeat the same song twice!

Enjoys, ladies and gentlemen!
