Rad Owl – Alladin’s Castle (Self-Released)

Rad Owl has released their debut EP, Alladin’s Castle. The bad news is there are only three songs but the good news is all are solid post-hardcore/ punk gems. Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, band members Jeremy Jessen (Vocals/Guitar), Ryan Felgen (Guitar/Vocals), Jeremy Bergo (Bass), and David Jarnstrom (Drums) are scene veterans fully displaying they know how to pull together a punk song: no filler and packed with dual guitar rhythm and melody, just the right amount of crunch, all held together with driving bass and drums. Even at three songs the EP offers enough variety to hint good things to come on future releases.
