Dischord CD remasters
Second and final piece about the Dischord remaster series. These are some of my favorites. In terms of sound improvement, all of the bands benefited from the remastering. The Embrace, Soul Side and Jawbox records sound light years better than they did on their original mix. Generally speaking, on most of the remasters the vocals are louder, the guitars are brighter and the dull sheen on the drums is removed. And since I’m traveling this week, I don’t have enough time to gush about all of these bands. Lucky for both of us.
