   The first episode of the new season was brilliant, seemingly setting up the season with a sadder overtone and edgier humor than before. I can’t wait to see what happens next, and when can you ever say that about a sitcom?

2. Yo La Tengo – I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass (Matador)

   Diverse, in a way that doesn’t repeat past success but pushes forward in new directions.

3. Waylon Jennings – Nashville Rebel (Legacy)

   Quite the comprehensive overview of the career of the country legend.
