Happy 4th of July – Top 10 LPs for the first half of 2010
Since the year is now half-over, I wanted to assess my Top 10 albums for the year so far. It’ll be interesting to see how many of these records will end up staying on my year-end list. Honorable mentions go to new releases by PERNICE BROTHERS, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, THE POINTED STICKS (though I believe that it may have been released in 2009), THE SECRET HISTORY and BEACH HOUSE among others that I haven’t heard yet or that will be released later this year.
Also, THE TRASHCAN SINATRAS’ wonderful In the Music was re-released earlier this year, but I didn’t include it below as it made my Top 10 of last year.
