1. Rancid – Entire Discography

   Looking forward to Matt Freeman’s tour in September

2. The Detroit Cobras – Baby

   Rachel Nagy’s voice – ooooooooooooooo !

3. The Cure – Three Imaginary Boys

   Minimalist New Wave masterpiece

4. VA – Step Right Up: The Tom Waits Tribute

   Artists as diverse as Alex Chilton, Giant Sand and The Wedding Present cover the master.
   The Tim Buckley cover of “Martha” is gorgeous.

5. Ramones – Live New Years Eve NYC 1979

   I remember listening to this when it was originally broadcast on WNEW! I’ve had many versions of it over the years- cassette, CD and MP3- great in any format.

6. Dog Blood – David Moody (St Martins Press)

   The sequel to Hater . Post apocalyptic novel pretty much from the perspective of the infected.

7. Hard Knocks – The New York Jets – (HBO)

   Highly entertaining look at the NY Jets pre-season training camp.
   Let’s Go Giants!

8. *Shonen Knife – fun! fun! fun! and _Free Time”

9. The New York Mets

   Because, when you think about it, must of us are mediocre too.
10. Ted Leo & The Pharmacists – Suspect Device
    A great cover of the Stiff Little Fingers classic
