The Wrong Brothers are a London-based duo plunging riff-heavy knives deep into the heart of experimental art rock. Following a year which saw them open for Barenaked Ladies, One Bad Son, and Texas King while in the same breath completing a run of 17 singles over eight months, the Brothers are on to their next sonic adventure with their new EP Strange Machines that mixes the members’ influences of rock and P-Funk into a tasty sonic stew. The songs exude enough energy to scale the highest musical heights and also keep the blues groove going past the midnight hour,.
The act digs into the making of the new EP, commenting, “This record has been a labor of love for us, having written more than double the number of songs that ended up on the final project. With Strange Machines we wanted to showcase our writing in a new way, presenting people a sampling platter of the type of deep grooves we love to listen to in our personal lives and trying to show that it really does only take two to tango, as it were. These tracks deliver us at our best, taking everything we learned from our constant releases over the last few years and condensing it into some of our most fun-loving music to date – We couldn’t be happier.”
