Snowflake is the new project of producer/engineer D. James Goodwin, who’s worked in multiple capacities with Devo, The Bravery, Murder by Death, and, most recently, Leverage Models on their eponymous debut.
“Black Stars” appears on We All Grow Toward The Sea, a nine-song LP of dynamic art-rock entirely performed and recorded by Goodwin in The Isokon, his personal studio in the Catskills. We dig the gleaming bombast of this song, which falls on a line between Pink Floyd and Explosions In The Sky.
