The Big Takeover is excited to share with you Hail The Pilot’s brand new single “In Circles”. The track comes off of their forthcoming album Divider which is due out this April. Based out of Tacoma, Washington, Hail The Pilot recorded it at South Sound Sound Studio with Jason Suko.

“In Circles” starts off with a nice, soft, spacey lead, but quickly changes to the harder rock sound listeners come to expect from the band. From then on, propulsive drums drive along beautifully harmonized vocals, which bring out the best in this track. We cannot wait to see what the next few months have to offer as Hail The Pilot gears up to release the full album.

Jason Iversen, one of the founding members, says about “In Circles”, “We really feel that this song sets the tone for the whole album. The circular guitar riff paired with the pulsating drums create this really cool heavy groove and raw texture that just begs to be turned up in some nice headphones or blasted in your car.” When asked about the recording process he continued, “It’s one of the few times I didn’t use any effect on my (rhythm) guitar. I just cranked up the amp and got this really great sound.”
