LES NYC badass biker, bombshell rocker, and boldface name magnet, Julia Haltigan has got a new EP, Hot Tears, coming out April 25. Joining her on the record is a band of top-tier sidemen, including guitarist Teddy Kumpel (Feist, Nine inch Nails), bassist Paul Frazier (David Byrne, St. Vincent) and drummer Steve Williams (Keith Richards, Sade).
In addition to her own music, Haltigan is a member of The Singles with Scarlett Johansson, Kendra Morris and Holly Miranda. She has been on the Late Show With David Letterman, singing with Justin Townes Earle, and, as a member of NYC’s all-female motorcycle club, The Mis-Fires, has appeared in the New York Times and on the Discovery Channel (Haltigan, it is worth noting, straddles a 1970 Triumph).
Greasy, torchy, and swaggering, “Money” is our exclusive single from Hot Tears — a sure cure for the Monday blues!
