Glazyhaze is a new dream pop / shoegaze band formed in northern Italy in 2021 by Irene Moretuzzo and Lorenzo Dall’Armellina. Their first single “A Glimpse Of Light” is taken from their debut album “Just Fade Away,” recorded by Paolo Canaglia (Act Cool Records) at “Il Baito” studio and mixed and mastered by Andrea Volpato (Fox Studio Seattle, WA). Their debut album will be released in physical and digital format on May 19th via Slimer Records followed by a tour in Italy and Europe.
Rising and falling again, with endless cycles of feelings and sensation “A Glimpse Of Light” perfectly synthesizes the band’s style through a powerful rhythm section and simple, dreamy melodies. The song is characterized by an insistent and stubborn rhythm peppered with sweet and dragging guitars and hints of psychedelia when the chorus hits. Oscillating between the essentiality of love in our lives, to the well known human fallibility of often getting carried away and losing all certainty, the track’s theme ultimately runs on hope; if we play the game of life and don’t give up, sooner or later we will see the light again.
