Ahh, Sunday morning. So quiet, so peaceful here at BTHQ. Let’s keep this mood going with an absolutely enchanting video of a live performance by the French group A Singer Must Die. This song is a duet between group founder Manuel Ferrer and vocalist Liva Zafimehy, filmed live from a special show the band performed at the Grand Theatre of Angers (France) on April 9, 2015, with the Orchestre de Chambre of Anjou. Directed by Jérôme Cassou and produced by Pierre-François Decouflé of Heliox Films (Paris), it’s as gentle and sublime as the performance it captures.
“A Right Arm Beyond Love” is from the band’s new album, Venus Parade & more songs beyond love, a stunning work of chamber-pop/dream-pop arising from the collaboration between Ferrer and guitarist/composer Manuel Bichon, who created and conducted the album’s gorgeous orchestral arrangements.
Enjoy.
