Formed in Chicago in 2010, this dreamy/heavy shoegaze band is comprised of Neil Yodnane and Zeeshan Abbasi on guitars, Jane Zabeth on vocals, Cory Osborne on bass and John Rungger on drums. Their new LP, Hierarchy was (somewhat incongrously) produced by doom-metal specialist Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium, Pelican, Rwake, Batillus, etc.), comes out next month on Saint Marie.
We instantly fell in love with this quietly emotional video, which was directed by Harrison Atkins (his short film, “Chocolate Heart,” premiered at SXSW this year), produced by Daniel Johnson, and stars actress/composer Alice Tolan-Mee (of the NYC band Anawan) and New York-based actor David Donahoe.
