Hailing from Boise, Idaho, RevoltRevolt was formed in 2007 by guitarist/vocalist Chris Bock but only solidified as a band last year; their debut album, Wild Unraveling, comes out August 8.

“Hold On Let’s Let Go” was recorded at Audio Lab Studios Boise, Idaho by Todd Dunnigan (Built To Spill, Caustic Resin) and features special guests Doug Marstch (Built to Spill) on guitars, Dunnigan on Hammond organ, and the great Earl Hughes on steel guitar.

The footage for the video to “Hold On Let’s Let Go” was captured by Joseph David Lockhart while on tour with RevoltRevolt and Mindrips last May. The bands toured from Idaho through Las Vegas, and made their way up the California coastline on into Oregon and Washington. Some of the footage includes scenes from Venice Beach, Portland, Olympia, and Seattle. Cameos include members of Mindrips, Lockhart, and Ben Brunn (Stereo Embers and former member of Revolt Revolt).

This song is cool and dreamy, and so’s the vid.
