Formerly frontman of Los Angeles indie-pop/American band Last December, Pete RG broke out as a solo artist in 2013 with his debut full-length New Eyes. The follow-up, Lightning Strikes, came out last month and features this very enjoyable song. Reminds us a bit of The National, albeit with a more uplifting message than those angst-ridden Brooklynites are known for. Must be the California sun. Check it out.
