Portland’s We The Wild — vocalist Ben Cline, guitarists Elliott Sikes and Miles Davenport, bassist Julian Rossetti, and drummer Joe Lawson — purvey a sophisticated style of post-hardcore, adding elements of math-rock and even fusion jazz into an assault that’s at once brutal and intricate, melodic and roaring.
