Born and raised in the Bay Area, and a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, multi-instrumentalist Dario Slavazza is an arranger and production director for Magik*Magik Orchestra, the “made-to-order orchestra” whose members provide orchestral backing to big rock acts like Death Cab For Cutie. He’s also a studio manager for the Zoo Labs “music asccelerator”.
Slavazza’s debut EP, Guilty Steps, came out June 10; its warm, relaxing grooves are redolent of his native state, as you will hear in today’s premiere, the aptly-titled “Subtle Thrill”. Enjoy!
