On October 4, Welsh rockers Super Marine release their explosive, and effervescent debut single “Decadent Flowers”. The first rung in the alternative ladder of success for the four-piece, as they balance their influences with originality. One part, Foo Fighters diluted with the anthemic angst of modern culture.
“Decadent Flowers is a power-pop stampeding nugget of energy, launched by screeching guitar harmonics as the track takes an urgent, good time adventure. An inspired, and engrossing song that moves with a delightful fresh approach. Truthfully not a sound relevant to a new outfit such as this, the production of Rich Jackson (Pretty Vicious) makes the track sparkle with enjoyment. This is certainly an addictive sound from an up-and-coming band to watch, I feel however a long-player will contain further pleasures and variations of themes.
