Surfing the broad spectrum of the heavier part of the musical map, they gather all manner of sounds and styles, inspirations and infusions, everything from grunge to more traditional hard rock, post-hardcore to indie, pop to punk, to build a rock and roll sound for the modern age.
If you want those big, brash 90s Seattle-style riffs and on/off power dynamic, then you have “Milk & Honey,” something more indie and finessed, then “Be There” ticks all the right boxes. Almost balladic understatement mixed with understated artistry, then “Birds of Prey” is what you are looking for, and if out-and-out punk power is your cup of sonic joe, then “Make it Your Own” will not disappoint.
Rock music might have found its near-perfect form a long time ago, but that doesn’t mean that the smart music maker can’t redefine, reimagine, retool, and revolutionize the sound.
