1. Tappi Tíkarrass – Miranda (Gramm)

   Our first stop is Iceland, where a gal named Björk started in this little punk band. Very cool to hear her voice in this context.

2. Labirinto – Kadjwynh (Self-Released)

   Moving on to Brazil and to this upcoming post-rock band. This is their follow-up EP to 2010’s excellent full length, Anatema.

3. Lacuna Coil – In A Reverie (Century Media)

   Before American influence began to overtake this spellbinding Italian metal band, there were wonderful tracks like this.

4. Cola Freaks – S/T (Douchemaster)

   These Danish garage punks are just fun.

5. The Creteens – S/T (Boom Chick)

   Nasty, raw, and vulgar. France at its best.

6. The Spectres – Last Days (Whisper In Darkness)

   A little post-punk action from Canada.

7. Rammstein – Mutter (Universal)

   Germany is next and what else?

8. I Break Horses – Hearts (Bella Union)

   Then off to Sweden for one of my top 5 fave albums from last year.

9. Sennen – Age Of Denial (Hungry Audio)

   A little English shoegaze.

10. The Vaselines – Dum-Dum (53rd & 3rd)

    And just a quick skip over to Scotland for some pop.
