Can’t Withstand The Revillos

The outlook was grim for Fay Fife and Eugene Reynolds when song-writer/guitarist Jo Callis left Scottish pop-punks The Rezillos after their landmark 1978 album, “Can’t Stand The Rezillos”. Rather then retreat, the two lead singers simply re-christened themselves The Revillos and doubled down on their kitschy mission of making the sound of the Ramones, The B-52’s and The Cramps all crammed into Joe Meeks’ home studio.

  1. “Motorbike Beat”

  2. “Voodoo”

  3. “Scuba, Scuba”

  4. “Rock-a-Boom”

  5. “Where’s the Boy For Me?”

  6. “Destination Venus”
(A slight cheat but since this was the final Rezillos single it counts as a transitional tune.)

  7. “Mind-Bending Cutie Doll”

  8. “Where’s The Boy For Me/Motorbike Beat”“
(Kind of a repeat but killer versions, even with the brutal editing.)

  9. “Bitten By A Love Bug”

  10. “Bongo Brain”
