XTC: Videography III (1981-1982)
The UK’s class of ’77 graduated few more durable, adventurous or curious groups than XTC. For nigh-on 30 years the band survived, gradually shedding members while constantly evolving. Unlike many bands of their era, , opinion remains divided about what constitutes XTC’s zenith. After a brief stop to discuss REM last week, we’re going to focus (mostly) on the very productive year, 1982, the year the band released one if its most successful records, English Settlement .
