6. The Reds, Pinks and Purples – “Last Summer in a Rented Room”
I actually know nothing about this band. Recently found them on SoundCloud and love this unassuming tune. Turns out they’ve from San Francisco, founded/led by Glenn Donaldson, and sound low-key British on their songs. New album You Might Be Happy Someday (which pretty much sums up the wistful melancholia) out Oct 2nd via Tough Love.
7. Holy Motors – “Endless Night”
Estonian dream-pop noir band gone C&W torch song on their latest album Horse, out Oct 2nd via Wharf Cat.
8. R. Missing – “Suzywhereabout”
A different iteration, reshaping, photo negative (?) of NYC’s The Ropes. New EP out soon.
9. Mint Field – “Delicadezza”
Mexico City-located atmospheric indie music outfit. New album Sentimiento Mundial out Sept 25th via Felte.
10. Keep Shelly In Athens – “Neon Glare”
