Joe McCarthy’s Ghost
This past Thursday, Representative PETER KING from Long Island started Congressional hearings that attempt to demonize American Muslims and question their patriotism along with implicitly labeling them all as terrorists. Despite no evidence whatsoever, King insists on believing that they are a domestic enemy instead of normal, hard-working, tax-paying citizens. These hearings are a sham and resemble nothing less than former Wisconsin Senator JOSEPH MCCARTHY’s Communist witchhunts of the 1950’s.
