Greg Weeks

Greg Weeks, former New Yorker, current rural PA dweller, and regular denizen of recording studios everywhere (well, more so ones in PA, and, erm…specifically Miner Street in Philadelphia and his own Hexham Head) is happy as a clam to be back on The Big Takeover payroll. Greg started his musical career at age sixteen when, in a spurt of teenage rebellion, he took his hard earned cash and bought a cheap acoustic guitar from The Big B Buzzo. Little did that hefty and hirsute individual know that Greg would go on to record and release multiple solo records, co-found the psychedelic (or acid folk) band Espers, release an alternate soundtrack to Czech New Wave classic Valerie and Her Week of Wonders, participate in the all-star experimental psych-rock band Grass, co-create the goth-tinged heavy rock band Magus, and co-run his own record label, Language of Stone. Whew! What a busy guy!
