Talkdemonic’s Beguiling and Sophisticated new vinyl LP and digital download Various Seasides comes out October 28, bringing Brooklyn-based Kevin O’Connor’s already formidable talents and creative experiences with crafting film soundtracks into creating a personalized overplus of atmosphere, evoking a resplendently aquatic realm.

Various Seasides is an album from Brooklyn’s Kevin O’Connor both beguiling and sophisticated enough to be played again and again, encompassing atmosphere or more casual appreciation. O’Connor believes it is the best thing that Talkdemonic has released, bringing his already formidable talents and fresh experiences with crafting film soundtracks into creating a personalized overplus of atmosphere, evoking a resplendently aquatic realm.

As a second single, ‘Glass Tower’ is a sweet tease, conjuring an allographic fantasy merging a vibe of Baudelaire’s green meadows with haunting psychic dilation, a melodic triptych that recedes suddenly into a noisy loop of disintegration.

‘Glass Tower’ was shot on a spectrally atmospheric late summer Sunday with documentary filmmaker Nick Capezzera (Universe) directing and additional cinematography by Lisa Bolden. Essentially three friends captured a live performance of the tune with Kevin behind the drums on the East River waterfront in Queens and on the beach at Jacob Riis Park in the Rockaways.
