Video Premiere: The Big Sway, Almost Home

“Almost Home” is the story of one night, told from two perspectives. The Big Sway had played a particularly rowdy late-night set at a local festival. After the set, Tim (Tim Zucco – vocals/guitar) and I (Joe MacFadzen – vocals/bass) each went our own ways in the dark and creeping late-night landscape of the fest, and each experienced our own variety of fear, exhaustion and frustration. The common thread through each of our experiences was the desire to go home. The song “Almost Home” serves as a debrief for the band, when the next day both of us asked – “where the hell were you!?” As for the video, it was created during the first months of the pandemic, with this narrative in mind, by a close friend of the band and prolific artist and author – Damon Bishop of Hambone Industries.
