Conceived in Toledo, OH with a home base in sister city Detroit, Silent Lions is a “heavy soul” duo of Dean Tartaglia (effected octave bass, sampled synths, and manipulated vocals) and drummer Matt Klein, who also provides soulful singalong melodies and harmonies.
Silent Lions’ The Compartments EP was released January 14 on vinyl, digital & CD formats through the band’s own label, Nah Collective.
