Song Premiere: "One Bird" by Trash Fiasco

Today, Chicago garage-rockers Trash Fiasco are releasing their single, “One Bird” which serves as the premier track from the forthcoming studio album Exist as Instructed, due March 20th.

Representative of the power and noise Trash Fiasco is known for, the 70-second track feels like fist-fight. Displaying the group’s elastic vocals and rhythmic drive, “One Bird” is straightforward without being mundane.

A snapshot into the mind of an obnoxiously confident nitwit, “One Bird” tells the universally familiar story of the person who proves their ignorance and entitlement within the same breath. A self-assessed victim, the narrator blames the world for their own failures while simultaneously putting their idiocy on display.

Recorded at Chicago’s Million Yen Studios with engineer Dave Lugo, “One Bird” appropriately represents the full LP in that it captures the raw force of the band, while providing a polished sound.
