Coldair is the solo endeavor of Tobiasz Bilinski, a 25-year-old producer, composer, singer and classically trained instrumentalist. Born in Norway, raised near the Baltic Sea in Poland and currently based in Warsaw, he has self-released five LPs to date (two with his now-defunct band Kyst), toured throughout Europe and the U.S., and performed at Primavera Sound and other notable festivals.
His upcoming album, The Provider, was recorded and mixed in Philadelphia with producer Jeff Zeigler (Kurt Vile, The War On Drugs). The latest single, “Perfect Son”, spotlights his gift for wedding cold synthetic sounds and broken electronic beats, to acoustic instruments and accessible pop melodies.
The Provider comes out January 15 on “Twelves Records.”
