TRØN THE ARCHER, formerly part of the duo TRØN & DVD, is starting a new chapter in his music career. After the group split up in 2020, TRØN decided to go solo and has continued releasing music since 2021 on his own. He is newly signed with Mint 400 Records and is set to release a new album called DESTINY. OBLIVION. later this year.
TRØN has been making music for 20 years, and he shows no signs of stopping. He continues to write, produce, and record his own songs. Living in New York, TRØN balances his life as a father of two and a film industry worker with his passion for music. His inspiration seems endless.
The first single from TRØN’s new album is called “Hostage Graduation.” This song was a team effort with his friend, Ryan Bloom, who is also known as BATLORD. Ryan is a graphic design artist and has worked with TRØN on many of his past projects. He co-produced the song and helped bring it to life.
The title “Hostage Graduation” is a twist on the term “hostage situation.” It explores the idea that a hostage eventually moves on to something different, whether that’s freedom or death. The song has a strong rap/rock vibe, taking influence from bands like Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, and Linkin Park.
TRØN’s new single is a powerful start to his new collaboration with NJ indie label Mint 400 Records. Fans of his previous work with TRØN & DVD will not be disappointed. “Hostage Graduation” showcases TRØN’s ability to blend different genres and create something fresh and exciting. Keep an eye out for his upcoming album, DESTINY. OBLIVION., and enjoy the journey TRØN THE ARCHER is taking us on.
