Video premiere: "Long The Way" by How???

Today’s premiere is a dreamy, melody-drenched number by How???, a new colloboration between musician-producers Alex Tebeleff (Gold.fix) and Matt Dowling (Swoll).

Following work on the last album from D.C. DIY veterans Paperhaus, the production duo moved their home base to a studio in Los Angeles. They call their new sound “Americana Electronica” and cite a wildly diverse set of influences, from Bob Dylan to Townes Van Zandt, Roxy Music, and Kendrick Lamar, as well as Animal Collective — the latter group being the clearest touchstone for “Long The Way” to our ears, albeit not nearly as sonically dense.

This video, by Alex Pelly, is appropriately abstract and hypnotic, putting the focus rightly on a sweet little tune.
