With temps plummeting into the teens overnight, winter has finally arrived at BTHQ. So it’s only appropriate for us to debut the new video single by Chicago’s Liqs, on Jeffery Drag Records. The young trio (Nick Van Horn, vocals and guitar; Sergio Stryker, bass; and Esteban Miranda, drums) play fuzzed-out, sweaty-basement rock born of “a consistent diet of the Beatles, Slowdive, Sonic Youth, Dave Chappelle, skateboarding and a borderline dangerous fascination with UFOs.”
