Christopher Bowen is an American musician and has been performing and recording in the U.S. for over 16 years. In 2007, his songwriting gained him a management agreement under a major recording industry leader and a recording contract with a multi-million dollar studio in Southeastern Connecticut.

In 2015, he received production and publishing support from the Boston based indie label Brewhouse Records and Aberrant Sound Studios. His highly anticipated debut album, KINGS AND QUEENS, ties together themes of conquering adversity through perseverance and motivation. Easily relatable, the tone creates a classic atmosphere of love, life, and reality that resonates with his audience.

Chris has performed for large audiences at college venues and city clubs. Venues include, but are not limited to, The University of Connecticut, Connecticut College, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Mass Maritime Academy, CBGB’s, Lion’s Den, The Met, Webster Theater, and Toad’s Place. Chris’ material has been played on commercial, non-commercial, and college radio in the Northeast including WHUS, WQGN ,WCNI, and WCCC.

Today, The Big Takeover premieres the video for Chris Bowen’s new single, “Picture”. Chris explains, “I wanted the video to convey the ups and downs of the song’s story and by the end, provide an unquestionable conclusion in which the one who’s been wronged decides to walk away.
