The See See - Days, Nights & Late Morning Lights (Sundazed Music)

Paisley Underground heirs, The See See, make their American debut with an encompassing career-to-date anthology entitled, Days, Nights & Late Morning Lights. Released by the nostalgia crazed label, Sundazed Music, the compilation plays like a greatest hits LP, boasting the many resplendent sides of the London quintet.

Acting as a collection of songs from the band’s two full length albums (only available as imports) with a few rarities thrown in, there are a ton of highlights. “Powers of Ten,” features forthright nods to Buffalo Springfield and glassy harmonies, “Little Tease,” summons Television after sweeping pop verses, and “Fix Me Up,” scores biggest with sunny melodies and dark keys shuffling round winsome guitars that you never want to end.

While The See See have remained elusive to America up to this point, let’s hope the marvelous album known as, Days, Nights & Late Morning Lights, will finally change all that.
