Sofia Lainovic is a 24 year old musician from Munich. She has been writing her own songs since was 10 years old and playing her own music live since 2016. She mainly performs with her younger brother, but also sings in bands. Sofia describes her sound as a fusion of alternative, indie, rock and pop.

When the band learned that an Afghan Whig had a recording studio 45 minutes from where they currently resided, that was all the impetus they needed to lock in 5 days of studio time in New Orleans’ Marigny Studios in January of 2024. Liminality is the 7th album from Irish composer and producer Seamus O’Muineachain. Pandemic Blues is a new album by the Finnish rock band Buko Shane, released on Long Lake Studio (LLS09) on August 1st 2024. The band is known for their electrified Americana-influenced experimental rock music, but on this release, a more acoustic and minimalistic singer-songwriter approach is chosen. Most of the songs feature only vocals, acoustic guitars and one or two other instruments. Pandemic Blues is written and recorded during and after COVID. The music is inspired by the feelings, moods and experiences during these four long and crazy years, since the beginning of the pandemic.

Rezo is the musical project of Irish duo Colm O’Connell and Rory McDaid. “I’m in Mississippi. I’ve heard Bach was nearly unperformed for 100 years after his death. I occasionally gig as a keyboardist in a blues/rock/original outfit based in Ohio. This release is an old tune written as a birthday present; it was hoping for a happy future, living in a dream. I bought a mic on Facebook and started home recordings for fun. It feels like painting, a creative outlet, the sounds are colors and textures, and I enjoy seeing what they come together to make. I think music, and art should stand alone, separated from their creators. Although I’m guilty of reading bios in Itunes music.”
Lead vocalist and songwriter of Don’t Call Me Tina, Christina Brennan, is a blues-rock artist taking after Bonnie Raitt and Grace Potter, from the Philadelphia area. Christina took her natural ability for music and developed it into a vocal powerhouse. Christina took her unique style of soulful pop-rock to Berklee College of Music, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Songwriting. In the sea of singer-songwriters, Jodi Heights stands out with her classically honed technique and her brilliant lyrics that plumb the depths of everyday life. Sanford: is the brainchild of Brooklyn-based and South Carolina-born musician Jay Sanford. He does all of the writing, arranging, performing (minus horns), and production for his recorded music, including previous original releases: “Figured I’d Ask Anyway” (featured in Gems on VHS and This Week in Americana spotify playlists) and “Anymore,” both from his first album The View Changes. His upcoming album, Extinguished Dreams, builds on previous influences of Americana, soul, and rock, and dives further into the pool, pulling from more of his wide range of musical influences.

Under Starling, the dynamic alternative rock group from *Ireland, is set to release their latest single “Selkie” on July 26th. This indie/alternative rock song with folk rock undertones delves into the challenges of long-distance relationships, skillfully blending fiction and reality through the ancient Selkie myth to symbolise hope and connection. Myles Cochran: “I’m an American transplant into Europe, splitting my time between London and Devon in the UK. I was born and raised in Kentucky, then time in and around New York City playing in bands and working in studios as an engineer, producer and musician. I now produce my own music and work with other artists as a producer and musician. I’ve recently been working with Irish singer, songwriter and harpist Brona McVittie, playing steel guitar and co-producing her albums.”
A true artist and songwriter world-renowned for his prolific, heartfelt alt-rock love songs, Stephen has released ten albums to date, with his eleventh on the way. He is produced by Steve Albini. His body of work was culled from a lifetime of experiences, including those as an engineer, a Hollywood actor, a custom builder, and a TV host. Though Stephen lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, his family hails from New Orleans and New York. His Italian grandfather was a multi-instrumentalist during the roaring 20s and an aunt on the French side of his family was a fabulous blues singer. His music was influenced by great rock and punk bands heard throughout the mid-Atlantic in his 20s and 30s, as well as by a good friend — a Beatles fan — who introduced him to his first chords on an acoustic guitar at age 16. Stephen currently writes all of his music and performs in the Charlottesville, Virginia, area.

Kingdom of Mustang is a musical collaboration featuring Mark Roebuck [The Deal, Big Circle, Sub-Seven], Michael Clarke [The Deal, Left Lane], Tim Ryan [The Gladstones, Jeebus, Left Lane], and Rusty Speidel SGG&L, who first came together in 2016 to perform songs from Mark’s album The World and All Within. Discovering a mutual love for songwriting and making records, Kingdom of Mustang has since spent most of its time writing and recording, but once in a while pops its collective head out and plays some live music for the people before heading back into the studio to make the next record.
