LARCHES is a project of Jacob Cona, a musician raised in Athens, GA, the home of Elephant 6, R.E.M., and the B-52’s. After several productive years beginning at the start of the pandemic, Jacob emerged from a bedroom-turned-home studio with music documenting a hallucinogenic landscape of isolation, loneliness, and hope, inhabited by painted corpses, cowering gods, and friends transformed into telephones.

During World War II, there were 20,000 concentration camp prisoners rescued by the White Buses, an operation coordinated and organized by the Red Cross. Danish saxophonist Benjamin Koppel feels this is a story we should all remember – hence White Buses: Passage to Freedom, a thematic concept album.

Roman Candles are a rock band from Charlotte, North Carolina.

During the second wave of the emerging Miami music scene, while bands like One Direction were topping the pop charts nationally, E-Rock Proper was sweating it out in local clubs playing guitar for various hardcore bands.

Rob has written songs for and shared the stage with Grammy/Tony winners and legends Joe Cocker, Sara Ramirez, Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest, Neil Finn, Andy Summers of The Police, and more. He has produced over twenty albums for himself and others. Rob has also landed roles in numerous indie films and tv shows, including Glee. His new album, Meditation Drive-thru, is out in 2023.

“Small Town Vampire” is taken from Fighting On All Fronts the third album from Mark Vennis & Different Place which follows in the footsteps of the acclaimed Uncharted Water and A Beautiful Lie Or The Ugly Truth. This too features an eclectic mix of different types of music influenced by the DIY ethos of punk rock. The album’s influences, lyrically and musically, are broad and take in films, books and indeed the current state of the world. Bedded in the band’s sound is their unique take on rock n roll and reggae. These songs, all written by Vennis, are about the underdogs, the oppressed, the forgotten, the downtrodden and down at heel.

Emily Magner Hurly is a composer, performer, coloratura soprano, and songwriter from Cork. She released her debut solo piano album Airs and Graces making its debut on Culture Night 2020. It has gone on to become album of the week twice on Raidió na Gaeltachta, and it has been heard many times on Lyric FM, US Radio and on C103. Her latest album Orainn is now available.
